Who all has seen the Movie Avatar?

I just ot back from the IMAX theater after my grandparents took me to see Avatar and I WAS BLOWN AWAY! how about the rest of you?

Saw it opening night in 3-D at an IMAX and was amazing yes

Yeah I saw it in IMAX 3D too. the story wasn't to big a surprise but the movie itself was still awesome

Avatar was an awesome movie.

Video Effects: amazing!

Character Designs: outstanding!

Story/Plot: eeeeh, it's been done before...

I LOL'd when they said "Unobtainium"... seriously, Unununium was a much cooler mineral name than that (a few years ago they changed it to Roentgenium... D: ).

Avatar schools Pocahontas though, it was a way more Teen to Adult version.

man oh MAN my adrenaline went NUTS when that big black cat thing with six legs tore through the trees and came right AT the screen!

oh yeah that thing was crazy. one of my fav creatures in the whole movie

my other fav critter is the 'Banshee' those dragon-like creatures were AWESOME!

ooooh yeah they were cool. and the horses were awesome too

and ok I can see the funny in that now (I couldn't laugh at it when I actually realized that in the theater because I was at the IMAX with my grandparents who took me to see it)

I heard that some people were so enthralled by it they didn't want to leave the cinema and go back to their normal lives. xD

I havn't seen it myself, but I hear great things about it.

you should see it, it PWNS so many movies and it uses the Pocahontas storyline WAAAAAAYYYYY better than Pocahontas did!

Saw it on Christmas night as a prez from my aunt. I think it was nice both visually and story-wise, but I was disappointed by the obvious Chekhov's guns and possible side-plots that were never explored (Yes it is quite long enough as it is, but if all the time spent loading the Chekhov's were redirected, it could have been so much more engrossing than it already is).
