GameDaily's "Top Ten Pokémon We'd Like to Eat"
Seems even non-vorephiles can share our culinary desires for Pokémon at times. ;3~ As Gamedaily themselves said it, "Bust out the herbs and spices, turn on the oven and set the table. These Pokemon belong in our bellies."

So what are your opinions on their choices? Did they select the most delectable choices, or perhaps your taste-buds disagree?
For that matter, if you were to prepare a Pokémon as a full meal, then how would you go about it? What Pokémon would you most likely try to put together into a meal? How would it be cooked...fried, baked, sautéed? What seasonings would you include? How about side-dishes? Dessert?
I know we're all into nomming Pokés, but making a restaurant-quality Pocket Monsters meal has never crossed my mind until now. =P
For my opinion, I think Gamedaily's choice of Stantler is perhaps my favorite of their list. Venison (deer meat) is delicious, as I've known first-hand. Especially when dried into some nice flavorful jerky strips, likely with pepper and a few herbs. Yep, Stantler jerky would be my choice!
However, for Gamedaily to include Magikarp in their list...shows that they've never seen the anime. Have fun breaking your teeth like Meowth, guys.

Re: GameDaily's "Top Ten Pokémon We'd Like to Eat"
I see pokémon eaten for food differently than I do for pokémon eaten whole/alive.
Whenever I'm writing a story which involves a pokémon which is caught and roasted over a camp fire it's nearly always a Slantler.
I was supprised Farfetch'd didn't make an appearence in that. It's HOLDING A LEEK! And IT'S A DUCK! The tastiest, most mouth watering meat on the planet (besides Goose).

Magicarp might be ok whole, but I'd like to see them try that one as well
. I have to wonder how chimchar would taste. Yes, Chimchar with a nice hawaiian sauce, followed by some strawberry icecream.

If I'm not mistaken, Misty's response to that (Meowth breaking his teeth) went "Check your Pokedex, because Magikarp is just skin and bones!" X3

Arcanine: n. A large quadrupedal creature that appears to be equal parts wolf, tiger, and lion when viewed from the outside, but appears to be equal parts flamethrower, stomach, and reproductive system when viewed from the inside.

Re: GameDaily's "Top Ten Pokémon We'd Like to Eat"
Two problems with the list, both relating to the anime.
1: Magikarp aren't edible.
2: Farfetch'd should be on it because it's refered to as being delicious.
The list is a neat idea, and such a conversation has come up before with friends in a non-vorish context. However, people really should do more extensive research before putting together things like that.
