What does water actually taste like?

( I mean...it has no real taste. It's like the neutral level. That's why when something is weakened in flavour we say "It's a bit watery." or it seems watered down. As in it weakens the consistency. Yet water tastes good, but why? To me, water's taste could only be described as 'Refreshing" because it revitalises the body and replenishes the fluids. o.o ))

(( Water does not taste anything, true. At best, it could taste the very faint quantity of OH- ions in it, but no human has tongue that sensitive. The taste of water is the taste of the compounds inside it, such as salt and stuff like that. Good tasting water will be the one that contain a good quantity of compounds in it for our survival. The water we drink is used to regulate the flow between cells and that water doesn't only need to be water, it needs to contain right levels of salt and other stuff to make sure the exchanges between cells is done right right. Pure water doesn't ensure survival, in that that case. That's why all the bottled water they sell contains minerals. So... basically, water tastes like those minerals. ))

Why does people always complain it's too cold in winter and that they can't wait for summer to come and, once summer is there, they complain it's too hot and that they can't wit for winter to come? (Seriously, it's annoying. Make up your mind, people!)

So, if there wasn't a massive hole in the ozone layer, theoretically the planet would not have erratic weather and a lot of storms to fix it. ))
