Friend notifications

I noticed awhile back that we don't get told when we have pending friend requests. If it's at all possible might this be able to be fixed or added? Also not sure if this has been discussed or not so if it has please excuse me for beating a dead horse

Sorry if this post is a bit old for me to be posting on, but I agree that there should be some sort of notification if possible. I just noticed myself a few days ago that I had received friend requests from about 6 or 7 people at some point in time, and had no idea until one day when I was bored so I started mindlessly looking at the stuff on my profile.

I concur with the previous posters on precisely the same points. Or at least an option to receive a warning in the preferences section, like how there's an option to receive a warning if you get a PM. Or you know, whatever, just an example.
