Interactives

Interactive stories, that is. Specifically, the chapter-by-chapter type. They'd be kind of a fun thing to have, eh? I've always liked them. Collaborative writing, like RPing, but without the chance of conflict arising from godmodding and stuff, since everybody's writing the same story, as opposed to controlling different characters.

You all know what I'm referring to, right? I feel like I'm not explaining myself well.

"John Doe walks down the hall. There are two doors. He enters...

1. The left door (chapter for this option)
2. The right door (chapter for this option)"

Y'know, those. But a little less... sparse.

That would certainly be an interesting addition to the site.

I've got no idea about the technical limitations that might affect that, of course. So I don't know a thing about how easy/possible it would be to add those here. Still, it'd be kinda fun.

I don't think it would be to difficult to do, but take some very careful planning. should be fun none the less, though

Basically, you can branch off from a chapter however you want. If you dont like an option there, or the two have been chosen but didnt go in the way you wanted, you can make another link and continue the story in your own way.

That always will work too.

That sounds good, too. I've only seen how they do it on writing.com, as it's my personal policy to stay as far away from Eka's as possible. x3
