Announcing the Hungry Pokémon Forums Gallery!

Yes, thanks to the efforts of Blue Charizard, we now have a much bigger and much better gallery! =D

Blue spent a great deal of time getting his own personal server up and running with this gallery, tweaking it and improving it for the last two weeks. Now, it's released! ^^ So please, artists and art fans alike, come on over to the Hungry Pokémon Forums Gallery! It's now accessible via the Gallery link at the top of every page! ^^

To answer a few possible questions which might occur, ive made a sheet of FAQ below:


Why cant i log in? I'm sure I've typed the right user/password!
Due to me not having access to the main forum database, i havent been able to link your forum-user with the users on the gallery, so you will need to sign up for a new account on the gallery.

What is the storage limitation?
The standard user got access to 25MB of storage (which should be enough to quite alot of pictures, unless compressed badly). However if you feel you require more, you can apply for "VIP Member" status, which gives you access to 50MB of storage.
If you are in need of even MORE (maybe you are an artist with ALOT of pictures) you can apply for "Artist" status, which will give you access to a whopping 100MB of storage!

What types of media can i upload?
Basically the gallery allows upload of 4 different kinds of media, Pictures, Video, Music and Text. This means you can upload both your pictures, 3D animation videos, music, aswell as your written stories.

What filetypes does that include?
Pictures: gif, jpg2, jp2, jpg, jpe, jpeg, png, tga, tiff, tif, psd
Videos: mp4, mpe, mpeg, mpg, qt, mov, flv, asf, asx, wmv, avi, swf
Music: kar, midi, mid, mp3, mp2, mpga, aif, aifc, aiff, wma, rm, ram, ra, wav
Text: doc, pdf, asc, txt, rtx, rtf

Why cant i upload BMP?
Because BMP is a terrible TERRIBLE format which should never be used... EVER... it has only the image information, and yet it takes up more space than a PSD.
If you want to upload a BMP file, please save it as a PNG instead using MS Paint or similar.
PNG is more or less the same thing, exept it takes up 10x less space.

What kind of media can i upload?
Basically you can upload anything that you would be able to upload on FA.
More or less the only things you can NOT upload, is IRL Human Porn and copyrighted content such as music or movies.
Also please note that this place is not an image-dump for avatars and signatures used on other forums, you can use Photobucket/Imageshack for that.
Any account found breaking this rules will be deleted, and the user/IP banned permanently.

My question is not found in here, what can i do?
Feel free to ask it here, and ill be there to answer any kind of question you might have.

Also, seeing as i have had to build this CSS scheme from scratch, there is bound to be bugs in the layout in the gallery, colors missing, boxes beeing where they arent suppose to be, thus i would like to request from the users to report any kind of graphical bug and glitch found so that i can fix them.
This also applies to normal bugs/glitches, if you find one, please report it.
