Completely Unknown Gender Difference

Post by Dragonaris on September 1st 2010, 9:34 am

On my Soul Silver version, I caught a female Riolu at the Safari Zone. Looking at the sprite, I noticed something different. It looked like she had lipstick! I looked around on the internet, and there was no mention of it. I thought it might be a glitch, but when it still had lipstick when it evolved, I knew it was real.

I think we have a case if "Pix or it didn't happen" here. Still, I won't completely discount the possibility; stranger glitches have happened.

Regardless, I think I'll be moving this thread to General Discussion as I fail to see how this is a rant or rave of any type. razz

I was slightly off, it is not a gender difference, just a weird red spot on both genders when you look at them from behind. I only misremembered my battle with the Riolu and hadn't seen the behind of a male one.

And Ralins, it is not a gender based evolution, just a happiness based one. There may be a lot more males then females, but they exist.

They're rare, but female Lucario do exist, so the evolution isn't gender specific. My Lucario on Platinum is female. Really surprised me when she hatched.
