File server "DirectUpload" has been BLOCKED

To all that use Google Chrome, you may have noticed that one of our threads was compromised today. This is the message we received, along with a notice from Google about the upload website:



Apparently this occurred as a result of a signature containing an image with the webhost in the URL. Given this new information, I have taken steps towards blocking any links containing the DirectUpload URL host and will be monitoring future threads to come, in case this happens once more. Do -NOT- attempt to attach any files from that website; otherwise, your post (if not the entire thread) will likely be removed. If at any time you see a warning similar to the one above pop up on any thread from this point, please notify a staff member, and we'll take care of it. In addition, I need EVERYONE to PLEASE check their avatar as well as their signature. If any images you have in those two areas come from DirectUpload, please don't hesitate to switch to the servimg host we have here as it is significantly more secure.

In other news, I have extended our reach of forums rendered inaccessible by those not signed in to the following: Contests, Adult Pokémon Discussion, Everything Else, Rants and Raves, Alt. Vore, Misc. Vore, the entire Creativity Section, Vore RPs, Yiffy RPs, and OOC. As these forums are all engineered to accommodate adult content, I would prefer to keep this information away from any lurkers that may potentially be underage. Despite our 18+ warning, our site can still get in legal trouble if we receive too many abuse reports, so I want to make sure that we're keeping things as much on the down-low as possible. Consider it the price we pay for having an adult board on Forumotion.

Also, I have finally gotten around to switching the poll on the leftmost Portal for September and will be graciously accepting any requests for October, when the month comes around. I'll be sure to switch those off every month, so feel free to poke me or another admin if I've not been doing so. Theme and Contest suggestions would also be appropriate, as I am very seriously considering a remake of our theme each holiday season. This might also include our banner, if we can generate enough interest.
