Seeking Moderators for General Discussion and RP Sections

Our previous moderators have been ousted until they are ready to return. - Moderatorship Conditions -

- You must be active on the forums nearly every day (generally), being helpful, and friendly towards new members. (Respect is key here.) Lording your position over others is a quick way to lose it.

- You must have memorized the forum rules well enough, including being able to make educated guesses at some of the unwritten rules. (Read through the rules to get a definition of this.) You should know when to close or delete/move a topic without having to ask one of us.

- You must be easy to work with, and understand.

- You must be able to get a long with just about everyone on the forums.

- Application -

(Treat this like a job resume. Good grammar, spelling, etc.)

- Write one paragraph as to why you should be considered for a position. Don't just say "i want to help out", you need to elaborate. Sucking up to admins is going to get you no where. You need to show us you can handle the position both maturely, and efficiently.

- Mod experience is a huge plus. List any forum experience, if applicable; with links and your name on those forums. Active forums are a plus.

- How long do you intend to stay here as an active moderator, if chosen for the position?

- If a fight broke out on a forum you were moderating, how would you go about dealing with it? And, after dealing with the issue, what would you do if another fight broke out over the same issue or between the same people as before?

- If someone displayed a great deal of incompetency on one of the forums you moderate...terrible spelling, constantly posting topics in the wrong threads, or otherwise seeming to have the IQ of a peanut, how would you go about dealing with this issue?

- List any experience you might have in website or forum design, whether it be html, phpbb, servers, java, or anything of the like. This isn't a requirement for applying, but if you have any of these skills, we could probably make good use of them on this forum. =3~

- Final Questions: What is the best thing about this forum, to you? What gives it importance enough to you that you wish to help keep it in order by signing up for a moderator position?

I wish I could, but I'm usually not in a good mood, and I'm not able to be on daily right now.
