Necroposting and your profile

Lately as of last month and this week, there's been quite a bit of necroposting going on. I'm not going to single any of you out, but I want to remind you guys that you NEED to make sure a thread isn't older than six months before you reply as our policy states. I think one of the major reasons this is happening is because users are altering their settings so the year of a post that has been made on the forum isn't being displayed. That needs to stop. The default date format is set to -Month Day Year-, so if you have changed your date in the Preferences tab to an option that excludes the year, please set it back to one that doesn't. I'm asking this of everyone. This will make our job a lot easier as well as the forums much more organized.
