SOPA/ProtectIP = OUR DEATH!

Hey guys, I know you all enjoy and probably love coming on this website, and you all enjoy your characters... but the fact is that all of our characters are POKEMON

Which means... if the SOPA/ProtectIP bill passes in congress, it'll mean that everyone of our characters will be illegal to use, and they will close down this sight imidiatly, as well as facebook, eka's portal, twitter, deviant art, even YOUTUBE

At this point, I can't imagine how it could manage to pass. Virtually all Democrats oppose it, as do a surprisingly large portion of Republicans. I don't think I've met a single person who -does- support it, and... yeah.

Not to mention Obama opposes it too, and apparently plans on vetoing it if it somehow manages to rear its ugly head out of the legislature.

I'd move this to general discussion, but there's already a thread about this, and I suppose this technically mentions Pokemon. Besides, I agree too much to interfere.

Well, actually, there is a new thread, which actually goes WORLDWIDE, It´s ACTA (Anti-Counterfeiting Trade aggreement) which is actually more aggressive than SOPA and PIPA, I already interfered for SOPa and PIPA, but right now, ACTA got really low interfere right now, I´ll post a link if i can find it again

Locking this thread since the topic has nothing to do with Pokémon and is already being discussed in Everything Else. Please take further discussion here if you would, or make an ACTA thread in that forum if you'd like. Certainly I have no love for the bills or the pledge myself.
