Slayers X Pokemon RP

First off, I want to say that it's not certain that this will manifest. It will probably depend on if the mood sticks over the next day or two, and if we find enough people. I've been thinking about it quite a bit, but won't know for sure if the mood will stick until after I post this.

The idea for this RP came to mind recently because I've been watching my dvds for the anime 'The Slayers'. To get things started, it will be a vore RP, but since I don't like or really do human vore all the characters will be pokemorphs. The pokemon of the characters will be decided by the players. One rule to keep the story accurate is the player who uses Zelgadis will still be part golem, and part demon. Only the human part will be replaced with the chosen pokemon species. Legendaries are allowed, since the pokemon form you choose won't have any affect on your abilities during the RP. All traits your character has will be based on the original Slayers characters. The pokemon form will be strictly for appearance.

The RP will need four players (other than myself) to play the four heroes Lina, Gourry, Amelia, and Zelgadis. I'll play NPCs, and other important characters. Here are some requirements. First off, the RP will be semi-lit for the most part. I understand that there will probably be small sentences at times when such is appropriate, such as during a back-and-forth conversation between characters where nothing else it happening other than chatter. If there is more to post though, be sure to do as reasonable a post as possible.

Make sure you're knowledgeable of Slayers, and can accurately play your character. I don't expect perfection, but do everything you can to stay in character with the Slayers character you choose to play. I also ask anybody who joins has at least seen the original three seasons of the anime series. Of course, more is always better.

I ask that you can post frequently, and are willing to stick it out for the long haul. If you're going to join this RP, it would be preferable if you can or do visit the site at least once a day. I know you might not be able to post everyday, but if you at least visit the site and can check the RP progress everyday then it can at least help keep things moving. I understand that things can come up to prevent such frequency, but all I ask is that you try your very best. It's always a shame when an RP dies off because of just one or two inactive players while everybody else is having a good time, and I would like to try avoiding this. Since the characters are based on those other than those directly owned by the player, significant inactivity may result in me seeking somebody else to take up the role of the character you chose in your place.

For all intensive purposes, the story will take place between the 2nd and 3rd seasons of the anime, with Phibrizzo's barrier still intact due to residual energy left behind after his defeat. Pretty much the only reason for this time setting is to grant Gourry access to the Sword of Light without breaking the anime storyline entirely, while also granting Lina the talismans, and the Ragna Blade.

There probably won't be a whole lot of vore in the RP, except for things that are done for joking purposes (such as maybe Lina eats Gourry instead of blasting him with a fireball for something he does, but he then is just right back outside of her in the next 'scene'). In more serious situations, the heroes will only be the predators when it comes to things such as hunting for sustenance. When it comes to dealing with actual enemies though, then only the enemies will have predator status, while the heroes will be prey in the event that they fall. All the vore will be soft oral, and some minor food play might be applied to certain situations depending on the circumstances.

The idea of the RP will be for the heroes to survive all the way through to the end, and defeat the main villain. I have some ideas for a plot, but I won't try too hard to work out the details until I know for sure that this will actually take off. If you have any questions, let me know. I hope I didn't miss anything. If you're interested in playing, then for now just post which character you want to play, and what kind of pokemorph you'll be. We'll need somebody for all four heroes before we can start, and even then I'll probably need a day or two to get things figured out on my end before starting things once the players are gathered, so please keep that in mind.
