New Favicon, and Updates To Favicon Interface

Yeah, I'm still around, guys. I regularly screen over the admin panel to see if there's any new features, and there was indeed one for the 16x16 icon of our forum.

If you remember, the main page has always had a favicon, but none of the other pages would keep that icon, instead going back to the default trophy-like icon. This was thanks to the clunky way I was able to set up the custom icon...it only allowed the icon to show under the pages I linked it to, meaning that one would have to manually put the icon on every single page...insanity, really.

But our forum hosts just whipped up a much easier-to-use setup that lets our favicon put itself on every page on the forum. I also took the opportunity to replace the old icon with something a little more custom.

I'll make you a new favicon.ico if you want; I don't get the current one, what's it supposed to be? Reminds me of a broken CD or an apple with a chunk taken off and bleeding.

No really, I'm curious, what's it supposed to be? I don't mean to be negative, I'm just totally stumped.

Actually, the background for our current favicon was just a section of a flame graphic.

I was thinking of replacing it with something more...appropriate for this site, but I don't know what vorish goodness can be reflected with only 16x16 dimensions. Would you be interested in designing a PKMN/vorish icon? It would be appreciated!

I'll give it a shot tomorrow, anything looks crappy in 256 pixels, but I'm sure I can do a good job.

I made a few edits (transparency being the biggest one). I hope you don't mind, Average. It's a very nice icon! ^^ A clever idea. This is definitely gonna be our site icon!

What's a favicon? I don't see it mainly because I don't know about it.

its a small icon that appears next to the site URL...i guess it depends on what browser you use or something...
BTW, can I get my vote back? I voted that it looked bad...but I meant the old one. this new one is awesome!

OK I use internet explorer and there isn't an icon heh, oh well.
