GIF Animators...I Need Your Help!

I've gotten the idea of replacing the little animated icons at the top of the screen with a more vorish set of animations...unfortunately I always run into problems whenever I try to animate. So I'm requesting help from anyone who has what it takes to animate! :3~

The idea is to use Poke'mon Mystery Dungeon sprites, and have one PKMN eating another. Straight-up, clean, oral vore. Such sprites can be obtained here: http://www.spriters-resource.com/nintendo/pokemon/pkmndung/

I've gotten some help already from my friend Argaron. Here are her sprites...

And my own! (Took about 5 hours' of work thanks to the fact I was rusty, but it was worth it!)

Aaaand one from Zearo! I had to do quite a bit of fixing up errors on this one myself. ^^; But all in all, pretty awesome.



Annnnnnd one from Latios! (Yeah, that makes two Charizard animations...but I'm thinking I like this one better than the other. I don't plan on using both for our icons...but I'll find some other use for Argy's I'm sure. ;3~)



This covers 13 of the 12 sprites we need. Minus the duplicate Char, that makes 12/12. But add in the fact I -might- need a 13th later...still need one more! But Latios will likely have that covered. :3

32x32 size. That's the standard size that we're using for these. Most PMD sprites are a good size for this. Some of the larger ones (Lugia, Ho-oh, etc) will have to be partially cut out (like was done with the Lugia avy above).

15 - 25 frames. The above sprites used from 15 to 24, so I think 15 to 25 frames is good for these animations.

Timing of frames... In other words, the speed the frames cycle at...I'm not too picky. Just having it similar to the above sprites is good enough.

Use a variety of Poke'mon. It would be nice if no Poke'mon is used twice, either for pred or prey. :3~ Let's keep it interesting!

PKMN Mystery Dungeon sprites only, please! We're trying to keep a theme here. :3 PMD1 and 2 are both game.

Gimmicks! Straight-up one PKMN eating another is perfectly fine, but if you have some idea to liven up the animation, by all means, use it! Examples in the above animations of such 'gimmicks' include: Pidgeot falling from the sky due to the weight of his prey, Arcanine spitting out the leek of the Farfetch'd he just ate, etc.

For extra incentive, to HPF users who help out, I will be giving 1 level per sprite! So that means, if you make 3 sprites for me, I'll give you 3 levels!

In addition, (and this goes for you FA users too!) your name will be put in the copyrights for these animations, on the front page. :3

I can animate, but I cant do custom sprites. if someone can make me custom sprite sheets I could make some GIFs...hopefully I can find some free time to make them...

If I had the patience or artistic skill I'd take a shot at making the sprite sheets.. Don't have either though ^^; Looking forward to seeing what people can come up with though :3

Very little editing really has to be done...PMD spritesheets are very comprehensive. Bulges, expressions, and little details (action lines, etc) are really the only custom material needed. In other words, don't sell yourself short! =P The needed edits are not that difficult.

Well the Pikachu is PMD but the Snorlax is, I think from Diamond, and it's the battle sprite, so it'd be to big, and scaling it would look terrible. Although, I'm sure you could find another use for it.

Yeah, that wouldn't work out too well for these icons, but it is a nice sprite. :3~ I'll see if I cant come up with some use for it.

Umm... Perhaps Sapphire could make the spreadsheet... She is an epic sprite maker!

What sorta spreadsheet are we talking here? When I think of a spreadsheet, I think of this. Or do you mean spritesheet? She doesn't need to...you see, the spritesheets are all very available right here.

Though Sapphire is quite good at spriting. :3~ Maybe I will request her services.

On another note, I might take another stab at making one myself. It takes me freakin' forever to do anything though. X3

Spread sheet? What spread sheet? If you actually mean sprite sheet, there are sprite sheets already made for the Dungron sprites.

I could help with this if you want anyways, but I can't animate.

I was thinking, if you wanted to help, that is...we could definitely use it. =3~ You're good at editing sprites. The ability to animate is no problem, I can do that easily myself. Basically I was thinking perhaps, you could make all the frames and just let me put them together in animation. =3

Hehe. Thank you, and that sounds interesting. I could try that, though it might be a little tricky, as I never really made frames for an animation before.

I understand. Well, the most important thing is to keep the sprites in the same place in each frame (unless, of course, they're moving around). Anyways, to help you out, I made a template. ( Here! ) I got 25 panels on this thing, and the white space in each box is exactly 32x32. That should make it easier to keep things aligned. =3 And don't worry, I can make a few edits here and there if there's a problem.

I DID IT! it sure was tough, but I really like how it came out.

Nicely done! But...the speed is a bit offset from the others. Can I speed it up somewhat? I'm all for slow vore, but it needs to keep in time somewhat with the others, as I mentioned before.

Also, may I flip the image? I'm keeping all the sprites facing the same direction you see. =P

made it myself! I added the Z and used the PMD sprites from the same site a while ago... I also have a few others that I made before...
Also have a few non-pokemon GIFs, but then it would get too off-topic...
if I get some free time today, Ill see if I can make another vore sprite...if I do make one, Its gonna be Bayleef! :3

Just needs to be animated, as I can't do that. Got the idea while fiddling with a request for someone on another forum. It gave me the idea for the pred, and I picked the prey out of the sprite sheets I had saved. Feel free to edit it if it needs it. Tried to make the throat bulge bigger in each frame, then finished it with a bigger belly, and a burp in the last frame. Hehe. I had fun with this.

Um... Charem... This might seem a tad strange but can I request one of those awsome sprites? Perhaps a trade? A sprite for a story? My favorites are the lugia, charizard, and Latias ones. They are so epic!

Silly 'ganium....please notice who I copyrighted each spriteset to...

The only animation Charem made was the Mewtwo one, Charganium. The others weren't made by him, as he gave copyrights to who made them.

This might be offtopic, but don't I get a level for my sprite? The first page says for each sprite, we get a level.
