Yeah, making a Pokemon game on the xBox would kill the franchise as fast as Crash Bandicoot and Sonic on Nintendo platforms. General concept of giving the concept to someone who doesn't have a clue what to do with it.

On a sorta related note on this topic, am I the only person who thinks that if the Nidoran lines were released in some new generation, as opposed to having been there from the start... they'd be lumped in with the 'lame idea, poorly thought out new Pokemon' group? I mean, seriously. Being one of the first 150 is the only thing protecting them from "Lol, what the heck is that thing?"

Nidoran used to have a gimmic in the first generation.
They were the only pokémon with a gender.
They WERE well thought out at the time.

Technically, they still do have a gimmick, in that both 'genders' have a different evolutionary line (for two stages; as opposed to one gender having a single alternate evolution like Snorunt and Kirlia, or only one gender evolving as is the case with Combee), as well as different stats for the two genders in the initial form... though if they'd just waited one generation, the could've lumped them (Nidoran Male and Female) into one species as both genders, while retaining the different evolutions.

Of course, they'd have to wait 3 generations to make the initial form look different between genders.

As for a way to make things worse... y'know those dress-up items? Used for photos someplace on HG and SS, and contests on D/P/Platinum? If your Pokemon could keep those things on during battles. It wouldn't be so bad some cases; y'know, give your Marshtomp a straw hat or something. But of course most people would be idiots and just cover their Pokemon in feathers, and you'd have to fight this random mass of feathers where a Pokemon should be.

Worse yet, they'd probably make it so you couldn't take the things off of Pokemon you got in trades. Yeah, that Crobat you got in a trade? The one that some Twilight-obsessed -genius- stuck glitter powder on 'cause they wanted to make a sparkling vampire bat? Yeah, you're never gonna be able to take the sparkles off. It's gonna look like that forever, the poor thing.
